We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
For far too long the politicians in Washington D.C. have forgotten who they are supposed to be serving. Policies need to be designed with the American people in mind instead of special interest groups, large corporations, or the advancement of a politicians career.
During his Gettsyburg address Abraham Lincoln elequintly stated:
These dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

Unfortunately, once again our country is becoming increasingly divided. This time instead of being divided by north and south, it is a difference in views between those living in cities and those living in more rural areas. Instead of policies that benefit one group, we need to focus on policies that work for and benefit all Americans.
